Canadian based software company brings to the computer gaming market the turn-based strategy game Disciples 3: Renaissance which was developed by Akella’s studio. Under development since 2005, this game allows the player to assume the role of any of the Lord of Nevendaar. This new offering has three playable races with additional modules set to be released as expansion packs. The current races include Elven Alliance, The Empire, and The Legions of the Damned. According to the developer, the battle system in this version is unlike previous releases with units moving around the battlefield and capable of using terrains as fortifications. The player’s character is likewise customizable in almost every aspect from the worn armor to the inherent abilities which all noticeably reflect on the character model.
